Perez is the second of two advisors to the Senate L&IR committee, keeping close tabs on Cal/OSHA to determine whether legislative remedies are necessary.

Resume: Prior to her current post she was Legislative Aide to Sen. Richard Alarcon from 2004 to 2006. At the University of California, Berkeley she was the Apartment Assignments Coordinator from 2003-2004 and a Research Analyst for California Latino Institute on Public Policy and in 2002 she served as Director of Operations for the Bridges Multicultural Resource Center at UC Berkeley.

Schools:  Perez received her B.A. in political science and French at the University of California, Berkeley.
