Deborah Gold

Deputy chief for health and engineering services with the Division of Occupational Safety and Health

Gold’s taken the lead on a number of important health-based rulemaking projects for DOSH, from aerosol-transmissible diseases to adult-film protections, and now she holds a key position at the division, one that was vacant for more than a decade.

Deborah_GoldResume: Prior to her current post, she has served as senior industrial hygienist and senior safety engineer at Cal/OSHA since 2000. She was assistant industrial hygienist and associate industrial hygienist for Cal/OSHA from 1993 to 2000. She also served as a staff research associate at the University of California, Berkeley Labor Occupational Health Program in 1993.
