A Sacramento Superior Court judge has ruled that an employer did not have to report an injury that required hospitalization until after it was determined that the stay would be in excess of 24 hours.The case, Rudolph & Sletten, Inc., stems from a November 1998 incident in which an employee injured a toe while using a jackhammer.
