California Drops In Fatality Ranking

California workplace fatalities rose significantly in 2005 versus 2004, causing it to drop in the ranks of AFL-CIO's "Death in the Workplace" report. Deaths to Latino workers were up, too. The state's fatality rate was better than the national average, however. Cal-OSHA Reporter
