EMPLOYMENT RELATIONS – EMPLOYER AND EMPLOYEE, CONTRACT OF EMPLOYMENT, LICENSE Labor Code § 2750.5 (2019) – An injured worker, who did not have a contractor’s license, was deemed an employee of Employer, rather than an independent contractor. Moreover, Employer failed to establish that the contractor who hired the injured worker was not its employee.
