HAZARDOUS ENERGY CONTROL - FAILURE TO DE-ENERGIZE AND BLOCK MACHINE WHILE CLEANING
Cal. Code Regs, tit. 8, § 3314(c)(1) (2011) - The Division did not establish a violation of the safety order because a carder did not have to be capable of movement in order to clean it.
TEXTILES - CARDS
Cal. Code Regs, tit. 8, § 4461 (2011) - The Division established a violation because a textile machine’s licker-in cover was not securely fastened and bolted into place. The Division established the serious classification of the violation and that it caused a serious injury; however, the penalty was reduced.
