SAN FRANCISCO - James Hlawek, administrative officer for the County of San Bernardino, has been selected as chairman of the Commission on Health and Safety and Workers' Compensation for 1997. He is also an adjunct professor at Cal State University, San Bernardino, and has served on the commission since 1994.
