RESPIRATORY PROTECTION - FACIAL HAIR WITH TIGHT-FITTING FACEPIECES
Cal. Code Regs, tit. 8, § 5144(g)(1)(A)1 (2004) - The Division did not establish a violation where employees with facial hair wore respirators with tight facepieces, but had been required by Employer to shave in the areas where the respirator contacted the skin. There was no evidence that the facial hair interfered with the seal or caused leakage.
