Rockwell Pleads Guilty

SAN FRANCISCO - On April 8, Rockwell International pled guilty to hazardous disposal crimes in connection with the fatal chemical blast in 1994 at its Rocketdyne Santa Susana field lab and agreed to pay $6.5 million. If the judge approves, this will resolve federal charges that the two physicists died while illegally burning a volatile explosive to get rid of it.Copyright (c) 1998 Cal--OSHA. All rights reserved.
