Cal/OSHA Advisors Meet in L.a., Hear Dire Warnings on Metro Rail Operation

LOS ANGELES -- This city's Metro Rail project is placing its goal of being operational by the end of May ahead of worker and public safety, transit critic John Walsh told Cal/OSHA Chief John Howard and attendees at the April 1 meeting of the Cal/OSH Advisory Committee.The committee also received reports from Howard on the agency's Targeted Inspection and Consultation programs and got an update on oil refinery investigations in northern California, among other reports.
