New DOSH Procedures on Ergonomics, Multiemployer Sites

SAN FRANCISCO -- In the wake of both the Appeal Court ruling on ergonomics and AB 1127, the Division of Occupational Safety and Health (DOSH) has revised its Policy and Procedures Manual that guides inspectors. The most extensive changes have been made to the "P&P" for ergonomics. Cal/OSHA Chief John Howard, addressing the Cal/OSH Advisory Committee at the State Fund building here, said worksites where one or more employees have been expo
