Lccu Study Says Loss Control Services Reducing Workers’ Comp Losses

OAKLAND -- loss-control measures enacted in the 1993 workers' compensation (WC) reforms are having a "positive impact on the reduction" of losses among WC carriers, a recent study by the Loss Control Certification Unit (LCCU) has concluded.LCCU, which was established to monitor carriers' loss-control efforts, is also meeting its statutory mandate, the study said.
