Few Advisory Comments on Highrise Hoistway Doors Proposal

An April 17 advisory committee meeting on a proposal to revise Construction Safety Orders 1604.6 regarding hoistway doors and door locking devices on highrise construction projects elicited few comments.The regulated community will have another chance to comment on the proposal when the advisory committee minutes are mailed out, then it will be submitted to the Cal/OSH Standards Board for consideration. Once the board sets a date for public hearing, there will be additional time for com
