Trenches, Clear Showing of Depth to Width Ratio Required. The appeal was granted. Appellant was alleged to have violated 1540(b) which at the time of inspection required an effective guarding system where employees are exposed to a danger of moving ground.
Appellant's main contention was that such danger was not present, i.e., the the soil type and slope ratios utilized were sufficiently stable.
