Arbitration to Resolve Workers’ Comp Claims

SAN FRANCISCO - The Division of Workers' Compensation (DWC) has announced hearings December 13 and 19 for seven sets of proposed regulations. One batch includes new procedures to implement Labor Code 3201, to permit certain employers and construction unions to use collective bargaining agreements to resolve workers' compensation claims.Parties who want to participate will be required to submit certain documents and information to the DWC administrative director, and he will determine eligibility.
