Despite CSB Vote, Parts of ‘Safety Case’ Will be in State Refinery Reforms

After a marathon meeting, the Chemical Safety Board sent its staff report on the Chevron fire back for revisions, questioning the need for a “safety case regime” in California. But state officials working on a plan under the auspices of the governor's office see parts of that system in reforms to our PSM system.
