OAKLAND -- Assembly Bill 1127 has cleared another legislative hurdle, winning approval June 23 by the state Senate Industrial Relations Committee. The controversial bill received "yes" votes from four Democrats; the Republican vote count was not available at press time.The worker safety reform act has been double-referred to the Senate Public Safety Committee.
