Another Stab at Reforming Standards Board Appointments Process

LA MIRADA -- Among the legislation introduced in Sacramento in recent weeks is another attempt to revise the procedures under which members of the Cal/OSH Standards Board are appointed. Two other attempts at reforming the process have failed in recent years.State Sen. John Burton (D-San Francisco) introduced SB 1591 in late February.
