Appeals Board to Reconsider Serious-Injury Reporting Decision

Cal/OSH Appeals Board, on its own motion, has granted reconsideration on a May administrative law judge (ALJ) decision in the Sun Valley Skylights, Inc., case.In that decision the ALJ affirmed a regulatory violation of DOSH regulations 342(a) but reduced a $5,000 penalty to $500, based on the employer's financial-hardship defense.
