LOS ANGELES - Fed-OSHA's final asbestos standard sets the permissible exposure limit at 0.1 fibers per cubic centimeter of air as an 8-hour time-weighted average. This applies to all industries, effective October 11. Other provisions of the revised standard have staggered start-up dates.
