In our June 29 article on the most recent Cal/OSH Standards Board meeting (p. 7613), we reported that the California Dental Association (CDA) had reiterated its request for an exemption to General Industry Safety Orders 5193.CDA's representative, Teresa Pichay, points out that the association has not requested exemption from the standard but a small-business exemption from its Sharps Injury Log requirements.
