Concern over Variance Glut

SACRAMENTO -- It was back to work for the Cal/OSH Standards Board a month after it was unable to act on its business agenda because it couldn't muster a quorum. The board adopted three safety order revision packages, granted a number of variances and held a public hearing May 19. But it held off on voting on a petition, at the request of its authors.
