Construction Hand-Wash Advisory Committee to Meet in Early April

ANAHEIM -- A Cal/OSHA advisory committee that will study proposed revisions to Construction Safety Orders 1527 has been scheduled to meet April 10.The proposal would require that construction employers provide hand-washing facilities at job sites where toilets are required. It was written following a petition by an ironworker. The Cal/OSH Standards Board has received a number of comments from members of the regulated public regarding the proposal.
