Construction Worker Killed in Trench Accident

SAN FRANCISCO -- An Antioch man was killed Dec. 3 in Moraga when a trench he was working in collapsed. Dale Rogers, 42, died of cardiac arrest despite the efforts of rescue crews to free him.According to published reports, Rogers was directing a backhoe, which was digging a three-foot trench for a retaining wall, at a housing development under contruction in the East Bay town.
