Cooperation Produces Help for Asphalt Paving Crews

FRESNO - Major makers of equipment who belong to the National Asphalt Pavement Association have developed a proposal that will remove at least 80% of hot asphalt fumes from workers' breathing zones. The plans involve installing suction and exhaust systems on large highway-sized pavers manufactured after July 1, 1997.
