LOS ANGELES -- Tam Smalstig, a nurse in DOSH's Special Projects Unit in Anaheim, earned the highest score in the nation in the American Occupational Nurses Association's certifying examination in 1998. Smallstig will receive the May Rose Snyder Excellence in Occupational Health Nursing Award later this month at the association's annual meeting in New Orleans.
