Infamous El Monte Sweatshop in Smithsonian Exhibit

BURBANK - An exhibit on the history of American sweatshops that includes a reproduction of the El Monte, CA, apartment compound that was raided and closed by the California Labor Commissioner in 1995, opened on April 22 at the Smithsonian Institution's National Museum of American History.
