Joint Federal/State Fall Protection Enforcement Is Coming

SACRAMENTO - Fed-OSHA's final rule requiring fall protection for construction work above six feet was scheduled to become effective on February 6. Cal-OSHA will not be adopting it yet because the Standards Board has ordered advisory committee review. (See NEWS pp. 00-6107 and -6126.)But on February 10, Fed-OSHA and Cal-OSHA signed a joint inspection agreement regarding subpart M.
