BURBANK - OSHA has again extended the compliance deadlines for its methylene chloride standard. Many users will be given an extra 18 to 36 months to comply with the 25 parts per million limit or use engineering controls to keep within the short-term exposure limit of 125 ppm.The OSHA proposal adds medical removal protection to provide pay and benefits to employees temporarily removed (for up to six months) from methylene chloride exposure for medical reasons.
