New Leaders for California Labor Federation

SAN FRANCISCO - Art Pulaski and Tom Rankin are the new leaders of the California AFL-CIO. They were elected by acclamation. Pulaski, former head of the San Mateo Labor Council, replaces John Henning as executive secretary-treasurer. Tom Rankin, former research director and lobbyist for the labor federation, also chair of the Commission on Health and Safety and Workers' Compensation, replaces Albin Gruhn as president.
