SAN DIEGO -- The Cal/OSH Standards Board Oct. 21 authorized an advisory committee to study a petition from the construction industry asking for changes to the Construction Safety Orders (CSO) on the use of nail guns.While the Division of Occupational Safety and Health (DOSH) opposes the proposed changes, per se, it is supportive of a comprehensive discussion of the standard in question, CSO 1704.The petition was submitted by Jim Muskovich, safety consultant for Loss Control Solutions of Santa Cl
