The federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration has issued an informational bulletin warning employers that a common type of fire sprinkler has demonstrated a high failure rate and should be replaced.Fed-OSHA's bulletin comes after the Consumer Products Safety Commission (CPSC) warned the general public about Star ME-1 dry fire sprinklers manufactured from 1961 to 1998.
