SAN FRANCISCO - The state supreme court has been asked to review the validity of a negligence lawsuit seeking damages for fear of potential harm. It is Kentucky Fried Chicken v. Superior Court (1995), SO51085.The case began when Kathy Brown went to a KFC in Redondo Beach for a snack and wound up between an armed robber with a gun to her back and the cashier, who was ordered to give the robber all the money in the cash register.
