BURBANK - Among existing respiratory protection requirements in California Title 8 safety orders that are to be revised by OSHA's new standards are Shipbuilding 8358(h) - asbestos and Construction sections 1529(h) - asbestos, a NOTE in 1531 referring to GISO 5144, 1532(g) - cadmium; 1532.1(f) - lead, and Appendix B - employee summary; and 1535(i) - methylenedianiline. Many sections of General Industry Safety Orders between 3409 and 5220 are also proposed for revision by the Cal-OSH Standards Board.
