Following a series of inspections in response to a complaint, Employer was cited for a willful/general violation of 3328(g) and a $705 penalty was proposed. The citation was issued because employees had to enter a large annealing furnace which had projecting metal parts hanging from its ceiling that constituted a hazard to the faces of employees engaged in loading and unloading rail cars inside the furnace.
