FIELD SANITATION - HANDWASHING FACILITIES

CAL. CODE REGS, tit. 8, 3457(c)(2)(A) (2000) - Employer did not provide enough handwashing facilities for its 70 field workers as required --- one facility for each 20 employees --- a general violation. Its argument regarding adequacy of the available water supply was not applicable to the failure to provide sufficient handwashing stations. The $750 mandated penalty for failure to provide a facility was affirmed.
