PERMITS - CONSTRUCTION EXCEEDING 36 FEET OR 3 STORIES
CAL. CODE REGS, tit. 8, § 341.1(a) (2002) - Although the building in question exceeded 36 feet in height, Employer as the decking installer was not the subcontractor most directly involved in the hazardous activity for which a permit was required; it was the steel erection subcontractor. Employer was not required to obtain a permit.
