CAL. CODE REGS, tit. 8, § 6281(a) (2002) - While the safety order is ambiguous in part, it clearly requires working uphill from a log while bucking. This extends to working uphill of logs already bucked which may still roll. Employer's employee violated the requirement and was fatally injured, but it was not a serious violation because Employer proved it did not know and could not have learned of the violation with reasonable diligence.
