AB 1655 Amendment Would Extend Ticp Assessments

A recent amendment to Assembly Bill 1655 would delete the repeal date for Targeted Inspection and Consultation Program (TICP) assessments.The amendments to the bill were offered by Assemblyman Robert Hertzberg (D-Van Nuys). Under current law, the assessments are scheduled to be repealed on Jan. 1, 2000. No substitute repeal date is offered in the amendment.AB 1655, originally introduced by the Assembly Labor Committee, would also require that the Occupational Safety and Health Standa
