SACRAMENTO - Eight former employees of the Longview Fibre Co. alleged they had been terminated wrongfully for their "drug addiction disability" in violation of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). The district court that heard the job discrimination case found that they were fired because of drug-related misconduct at work, not disability, and dismissed the claims.
