Appeals Board Dismissal Of Willful Violation Triggers Regulatory Action

When a worker was seriously injured after being forced to jump over an opening to do rooftop cleaning, Cal/OSHA cited the employer for a willful violation. But the Appeals Board dismissed the violation, saying the safety order didn't cover the work. Now the Cal/OSH Standards Board wants to close that gap.
