SACRAMENTO -- The Cal/OSH Appeals Board "did the best job it could in a very difficult situation" in attempting to establish exceptions to minimum penalties for violations of field sanitation standards, Appeals Board chief counsel Carol Brown told the Cal/OSH Advisory Committee at its Jan. 4 meeting in the state capital.
