Continuing the spate of occupational health and safety-related legislation since the Democratic Party took complete control of the state capitol, the Democratic majority on the Assembly Committee on Labor and Employment has introduced two new bills.One would fundamentally change the way the Occupational Safety and Health Standards Board grants variances.
