SAN DIEGO -- The Cal/OSH Standards Board adopted a revised proposal that will require contractors to notify the Division of Occupational Safety and Health (DOSH) before commencing lead-related work.In other actions at its Nov. 15 meeting in San Diego, the board adopted revisions to the Elevator Safety Orders to delete leftover language regarding escalator skirt/step clearance, and cleanup language regarding cranes and other hoisting devices.The lead proposal amends Construction Safety Orders 153
