California Injuries and Illnesses Down Across the Board in 2004

Statistics released by California's Division of Labor Statistics and Research (DLSR) show that 12 of the 14 major employment sectors in the Golden State had fewer injuries and illness in 2004 than 2003.Nationally, injury and illness rates and numbers were generally down, as well, according to the federal Bureau of Labor Statistics.For all California employers, including government, injuries and illnesses were down 28,000, from 630,700 in 2003 to 602,700 last year.
