SAN FRANCISCO -- Cal/OSHA, State Compensation Insurance Fund and two industry associatons are sponsoring a series of safety seminars at both ends of the state on residential fall protection.The first seminar will be held Jan. 7 at 9 a.m. at the State Fund Oxnard District Office, 2901 N. Ventura Rd.The free seminars are intended to raise awareness among contractors and supervisors on how the fall protection regulations affect Injury and Illness Prevention Programs and multiemployer responsibilities.
