In the coming weeks, advisory committees will meet for the first time to discuss proposals ranging from reorganization of California's safety standards to a requirement for elevator and escalator accidents to be reported to Cal/OSHA.On May 15, a committee will meet in Sacramento to discuss proposed additions to the Elevator Safety Orders 3000 that would require elevator owners to report known accidents that result in serious injury or death.
