Criminal Charges Following Fatal Fall

LOS ANGELES - Two partners in a South Carolina company were arraigned on April 8 in U.S. District Court in Jacksonville, FL, on criminal charges resulting from willful violations of OSHA standards that resulted in the death of an employee.Theodore Russell Smith and John Otto Dennis Sr., partners in South East Towers headquartered in St. Stephens, SC, have been charged in the December 26, 1995, death of a worker who fell 150 feet from a communications tower being erected by the firm in Jacksonville.
