Doe Attempting to Compensate Workers Exposed to Nuclear Hazards

The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) has announced a program that would reverse the decades-old practice of opposing workers' claims of illnesses resulting from exposure to radiation and chemicals while designing, building and testing nuclear weapons.The proposal must be approved by Congress.
