Emergency Responders’ Bill Advances

AB 1923, which would require employers of emergency response personnel to address in their injury and illness prevention programs (IIPP) the stress from exposure to mass human casualties and other traumatic events, was approved by the state Assembly Labor and Employment committee 8-0 on March 31.
